This will be the first official event of the newly formed Federation club and they invite you to take part. Plans include an overnight stay in a local hotel, taking part in the ride of respect, followed by a ride around

- Chester Lions Light Parade
The event is to be held on Saturday 21st April 2012, starting off with a static daytime display of GoldWings within the historic city centre itself. - 52 Mile Motorbike Run 2012 and Party on the Pitch
Madeley, Newcastle, Staffordshire 28 Apr 2012 13:00 – 29 Apr 2012 00:00 52 Mile Motorbike run on the 28th April 2012. Starting at 2pm from Madeley High School, Newcastle Road, Madeley, Crewe, CW3 9JJ. £5.00 per person to participate in the run, or £7.00 to add a wristband or £22.00 to add a wristband and a t-shirt. The run follows good biking roads with a pub and petrol stop on route. Camping is also available but needs to be booked. Party on the Pitch from 1pm including various stalls, children’s rides and community displays for all the family. Refreshments and food available. - Congratulations on new Grandson
Congratulations to Norman and Ireen Scot on the birth of their new Grandson, Joe. Born on the 17th February 2012. Congratulations also go to both Joe’s a parents It is a double celebration as young Joe will be celebrating his birthday, each year with Ireen. Happy Birthday Ireen for today. Look forward to seeing some pictures, especially of the sidecar on the wing!!!
- Info on the 2012 bike
Hi, I thought some of you might be interested in some bits of info on the new 2012 bike so whilst I’m sorting ours out I’ll keep posting any new things that I find out about it along the way. 1. One of the first things I noticed was the rear lights – or lack of them! Only the one light in the centre actually lights up and that only works as a tail light ONLY, not a brake light. The 2 lights in the top box work ONLY as brake lights and NOT tail lights. I’m now wiring them so that ALL the rear lights work as tail AND brake lights too. (ignore the missing panel on the left lower top box – I removed it to view the wiring harness) 2. This bike now comes PRE-Wired for front lower FOG lights. I checked the harness and found 2 sockets down behind the front cowl and a 4pin connector for the switch in a boot behind the left control panel – just like the US spec bikes ! 3. The rumours about a suspension upgrade interested me as I always install Progressive Springs and was hoping that I might not have to do it to this bike. When I checked I found the front hasn’t changed at all, and the rear spring now has less turns than the previous model. So, I installed the Progressive upgrade today !
